(3 Revivalvillians)
Paul, an apostle — not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead — to the church in Revivalville, who claim the name of Christ but walk in a different spirit: Grace to the humble, and a fearful warning to the proud.
I Am Astonished
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you in the grace of Christ and turning to a distorted gospel — which is no gospel at all.
You preach of “revival” as though the cross were incomplete. You run after “new moves of God” while neglecting the eternal work finished once for all.
If anyone — even if I myself, or an angel from heaven — preaches to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. I repeat: Let him be accursed.
Your Boast Is in Atmosphere, Not in Christ
You measure the Spirit’s presence by the volume of your music and the shaking of your hands, not by the truth of the Word or the fruit of the Spirit. You have traded the meat of doctrine for the sugar of experience, and you call it maturity.
Do you not know that when the Corinthians did this, I rebuked them sharply, saying, “I could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:1)?
You Use God’s Name to Build Your Own Kingdom
You speak of “anointing,” but you mean influence, You speak of “revival,” but you mean brand growth, You claim to be stewards of God’s presence, but you are merchants selling access to what God has freely given in Christ.
Also, you twist the Scriptures to suit your vision, and you guilt the saints into serving your empire. Do not be deceived: the Chief Shepherd will appear, and He will not commend those who devoured His flock.
You Live as if Pentecost Never Happened
You plead for the Spirit to “come,” as though He were absent, You ignore the words of Christ: “He will be with you forever” (John 14:16), You pray for outpourings, but refuse to believe that the greatest outpouring has already been given.
Your prayers are not faith — they are unbelief in disguise.
If You Continue in This, You Prove You Never Knew Him
Let no one deceive you: If you keep substituting hype for the gospel, chasing manifestations over obedience, and placing man’s vision over God’s Word, you show that you have embraced a different Christ — one of your own making.
As I told the Galatians, I tell you now: You are severed from Christ if you seek perfection, power, or presence by your own striving. You have fallen away from grace.
Final Plea
I plead with you, not as an enemy but as one who has told you the truth: Return to the gospel of grace. Fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Stop running in circles crying for what you already have in Him.
The time is short. Your lights, your music, your crowds — all will fade. But the Word of the Lord endures forever. Preach that Word, and the true revival — the revival of dead hearts to life in Christ — will never cease.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with the repentant among you. Amen.
