One of the most powerful principles in the New Testament is this:
You become what you behold.
Transformation is not achieved by duty, pressure, or spiritual performance. It flows effortlessly from revelation — from seeing Christ as He truly is.
The Apostle John wrote:
“We shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”

Paul wrote:

- “You are nothing.”
- “You will never change.”
- “You are too weak.”
- “You are not like Christ.”
- “You’re too sinful.”
Why?
Because the enemy knows your transformation depends on your vision.
Kill your vision → kill your hope → kill your transformation.
5. Why Seeing Christ Removes Old Patterns
Beholding Christ does what the law never could:
- breaks addiction
- dissolves fear
- silences shame
- ends condemnation
- destroys insecurity
- purifies the heart
The law demands change.
Grace reveals Christ — and He changes you.
When you see:
- His kindness, your bitterness dies.
- His love, your fear melts.
- His righteousness, your guilt breaks.
- His identity, your insecurity fades.
Seeing Christ is the circumcision of the heart — the cutting away of lies.

“Looking unto Jesus…”
