I’ve heard it more times than I can count.
People worked up, worried, even angry—because unbelievers are entering “their” land.
Because another religion might “dominate” our cities.
Because we might “lose” our so-called Christian nation.
But here’s a question I want to ask—gently, but firmly:
Do you really think that if people heard both religion X and the gospel, they’d choose religion X?
If so… do you actually believe the gospel is what it says it is?
The Gospel Isn’t Fragile
Romans 1:16 says:
“The gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.”
This is not a mere worldview. It’s not a social movement. It’s not a religious ideology.
It is the power of God.
The righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith—which means, once this message is preached, it spreads. It grows. It ignites like wildfire.
It’s happened before—in the Roman Empire.
It’s still happening today—in underground churches, refugee camps, and closed nations.
Gospel vs. Fear
Christian nationalism is often fueled by fear:
Fear that we’ll be “overrun.”
Fear that we’ll lose our “identity.”
Fear that the gospel won’t be enough to reach people anymore.
But here’s the truth:
The gospel doesn’t need borders to flourish. It needs hearts.
And if thousands of people from other lands are coming into yours… isn’t that a mission field being delivered to your doorstep?
Does the Sun Worry About the Moon?
When you know what you carry, you don’t fear alternatives.
You shine.
The sun isn’t threatened by the moon’s proximity.
And the gospel isn’t threatened by the presence of other religions.
If we truly believe the gospel is the power of God, we won’t be focused on keeping people out—we’ll be excited to let them in.
