War over each Promise and Prophecy

2–3 minutes

Every promise in the scripture is something that you can use in your daily life. It is the seed and the manifestation of that promise in your life is the harvest. How do you plant that promise seed in your life?

First. Remember what God has declared

It might be in conflict with your thinking, it might be in conflict of opinions of others. The point is that you are going to take that prophecy or Word, and it should be more important to you than every other opinion, and every other seed the enemy is trying to plant it hat soil of your heart. It’s crucial to prioritize the truth of the Word, regardless of the conflicting perspectives that may arise. Embracing this understanding enables you to fortify your belief against doubts and negative influences, fostering a resilience. Remember, nurturing the seeds of positivity and strength within your heart will yield a bountiful harvest of peace and fulfillment of the promise. It is through such resilience and fortification that one can sleep in the boat caught in the eye of the storm, that one can walk into a dead person’s home and say that he is just sleeping.

Secondly, War with your mind over that promise.

You take that word, which the Lord has spoken and use it as a weapon, until you see the absolute fulfilment of what God has declared over you. It is not through anxiety, it’s not through fear, it’s through faithfulness. It’s through determination, that God must be glorified through this. You walk by faith and not by sight, till the promise is your sight. Holding onto the promises revealed in the Scriptures, allowing them to permeate every aspect of your being, until they become the very essence of your existence. Refusing to waver in the face of challenges, but rather standing firm on the unwavering certainty of God’s faithfulness.

Like Paul wrote to Timothy

This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare

1 Timothy 1:18 (ESV)

If you noticed above, we never said that the war was against the evil one. The evil one will have power over you, only if you think he has power over you. The war is in your mind. This is why Paul says

2 Corinthians 10:5 (NASB95) 5We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,

The battleground is your own mind. The devil holds no sway over you, and his sole power lies in deceit. He manipulates people into believing he wields power, and to do so, he must control your thoughts. Refuse to grant him dominion over your mind.
